Training and Organizational Support Dr. Meg Power, the Executive Director of EOS, regularly organizes and contributes to training for local Community Action Agencies, their partners in community-based organizations; energy regulators and providers, Weatherization sub-grantees, and state and federal agencies on the results of our work. Recent topics included: overview of hardships low- and moderate income families face for regulators, advocates, and energy vendors; alternatives in community programs’ outcome measurement; introduction to the ($9.5 billion) integrated programs of the Community services network for potential partners; case studies of finding and using housing and community development resources with energy programs; advocacy resources for local program delivery agencies; energy market issues affecting the poor; warm climate enrgy needs and conditions, and program management issues. EOS staff regularly provides information and tehnical support to local community programs whose purpose is to reduce poverty and to organizations that are their partners.
